To make an Application to the Planning Board, the proposed usage must first be reviewed by Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO) Gil Raab. ZEO Raab will issue a determination as to whether it is in compliance with zoning ordinances.
Planning Board Application Nights are held at the Town Hall on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7 pm. Board members must review the proposed project, before an Application can be scheduled for a Board meeting.
Planning Board Meetings, including both Application presentations and Public Hearings, are regularly held the first Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7 pm.

Regular Town Board meetings are held the third Thursday of each month, at the Ghent Town Hall. In addition, the Board holds informational planning and working sessions the first Thursday of the month.
Members of the Public are encouraged to attend Town Board meetings. Please feel free to contact Board members with any questions, concerns or suggestions. Your input is valued.

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) meets the second Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at the Town Hall and begin at 7 pm. Members of the public are always welcome.
